TEXTFESSIONAL

I wanted to post a recap of the last few weeks that I did not get up. We have had some great services lately and some amazing visitors. Emily Schiavi was out here last month and led worship with me. What an awesome time that was.

2 weeks ago the incomparable Matthew Ward (2nd chapter of acts) was with Lifepath church for a concert. He stuck around the next day and did the Sun Am worship service with me. I have very few words other than WOW. It was so surreal because he is so good.

This past week with the setlist above was awesome. I decided to do 4 hymns this week and did some modern arrangements of them and was really able to make them flow with the “chorus” style music. Everything went great.

I introduced “the lord reigns” two weeks ago and it is going pretty good so far. I think the song really warrants a rockin band so it works great when the whole band is there.

Special note of something I missed. In may it was my 2 year anniversary of posting setlists on my blog.

-as always this is part of the wonderful carnival designated Sunday Setlists. Go celebrate his one year anniversary of them-

Matthew Ward, eh? Score! Our bass player wants us to learn Let the Praises Ring, but I’ve already told the team we’re learning Everybody Praise the Lord first.
