The Mac’s are on order

Thats right…I took the plunge. we are no longer a PC household as of..well whenever the things show up.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far and trust me I will blog my transition process.

I ordered all refurbs

Macpro 15 inch 2.4 ghz with 2 gig ram

iMac 24″ 2.8ghz 2 gig ram.

decided to get iwork cus macoffice is getting horrible reviews. Hopefully the transition works there with word and excel files.

I am stoked and ready to get started learning this stuff. I am not a moron (although some think different) so it shouldn’t be too difficult for the transition, but if it is thank God you all are here to make me feel warm and fuzzy.

To Apple I go!

    Dude, I couldn’t be more proud of you. NOTHING wrong w/ the refurbs, that’s almost all we buy at SSCC, and is what my 15″ MBP.

    Now, PLEASE get all your Mac accessories (ie. you really need a Speck case for that new MBP) at my e-biz store, GetSkinsNow.Com

    i really like iwork. for the price and i like many of the editing features. There is a learning curve but stick to it and next year you won’t remember how to use Microsoft.(and you won’t miss it)
