Huge Announcement: Church Name

This past Sunday our pastor announced that with much prayer within the leadership and elders we have decided to change Our church name from St. Michael’s to lifepath church. I was a part of the prayer and thinking of this and have my thoughts about what this means for us. I will expand on it tonight.

I am very excited about everything that comes with this and will also be calling for the help of you readers in my next post with your prayers. Until then here is the announcement and explanation of everything going on. This is not just a name change. We are trying to change the spiritual climate in our area. We want to see people come to Christ.

    All at Lifepath continue to be in my prayers and I believe that you all sought God’s will on this long before this change was made, thus He will bless this most certainly. But, I must comment that it was never the name “St. Michael’s” that confused people on Aquidneck Island for the past 14 years. Rather, it was the name of the denomination, “Charismatic Episcopal Church” that proved to be a stumbling block to folks understanding of who and what the church was.
