  1. so… what’s with all this inconsistancy? sometimes you put the artist’s full name (i.e. – Matt Redman), and other times you just put his/her last name (Millard)…

you are driving my anal-rententiveness up the wall.

  2. Church of the Holy Spirit
    Stephens City, VA

Processional: Hail to the Lord’s Anointed (We used the Woodbird tune)

Advent Candle Lighting: O Come, O Come Emmanuel

    Gradual: Emmanuel

    (E) He is Exalted – Twila Paris
    (E) Let the River Flow – Darrell Evans
(Db) O Mighty Cross – David Baroni

Communion: It is Well With My Soul

    Recessional: Immortal, Invisible

The song set went well. I was pleasantly surprised how many people knew the processional; I’d chosen it because (1) it fit beautifully with the Psalm for the day and (2) it’s a great Advent song and (3) I like it.

I had originally wanted to finish the praise set with “Be Not Afraid” instead of “O Mighty Cross,” but I forgot to put the lyrics in the bulletin insert. Oops. Oh, well.
