Don’t you love “Come Thou Fount, Come Thou King”? I think it’s one of the best hymn re-works out there.

For All the Saints – William Huw

As readers of this blog might know, I am no fan of 1970s Christian music. But the song “Seek Ye First” is a very comfortable song – it’s completely Scriptural, it’s not at all complex, and God really used it yesterday to help people worship. It’s not about me and my preferences, it’s about Him.

The Mark and Chopinsky songs fit together very nicely to give an image of the praise around God’s throne. And the prayer time around the altar rail led to a great rendition of the spiritual warfare classic, “For All the Saints.”

I wonder if anyone has ever come up with a suggested song list for an exorcism? I’d nominate “For All the Saints” and “A Mighty Fortress,” and probably “Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence.”
