A few weeks ago I met with some local worship leaders from a few other churches about starting a multi-church worship team. I really believe in the big “C” in church and that unity is really the only way we are going to change the culture in our community. Last week we had our first practice. We have started small and have only told a select few about it just to get something established. In the near future we will be inviting even more churches to jump on board and maybe even springboard into some other things.

Ok back the the practice. God is amazing. This is one talented group of musicians. We have 2 guitars, piano, 2 lead vocals, drums, bass, and sax. Let me tell you this band was tight. We did a few songs that only 1 or 2 of us knew or have even heard and they only took one time to play them because they were amazing.

I am truly floored sometimes at what God can do in us and through us when we actually take up His mission. I am expecting great things here. God has some awesome stuff planned.

We will be doing worship at this years national day of prayer and I think having a team comprised of musicians from more than one church is really gonna shake things up.
