I got a really cool link from my buddy at cries of the heart. Its called Goodreads and it catalogs what you are reading and you can rate them etc etc. It is a very user friendly one.

Now I know I do reviews on here and will continue, but I read alot more then just church books and thought I would share some of the stuff thats on my shelf. It is a small taste, but I will add more if anybody is interested. There is fantasy, art, comics, design, worship, theology.

check it out…read any of them? let me know.

Here is something really cool. Introducing Alpha Omega Guitar Effects

We are a Christ centered Christian company that specializes in Hand Built Vintage Voiced Boutique guitar effects. We offer Boutique Guitar effects pedals for those seeking awesome heavenly tone. All pedals are vintage circuit with modern touches. All are true bypass, have on/off indicator LED and are vintage voiced to sound as close to highly sought after vintage original pedals costing 3 times as much. In most pedals we use the original vintage circuit but with the finest quality components available. Get that Heavenly Tone you have been praying for.

I find some of them a little pricey considering the other stuff out there, but these seem like really cool pedals and there a bunch of them. Vintage sound, Retro looks, and well….Christian.

Looks like we found a new kind of blended worship. What do you guys think?

I Remember…

September 11, 2007 — 3 Comments

I am not from the world war generations or pearl harbor. I am not from the kennedy generation or remember much about nixon. But I do remember 9/11.

I was in St. louis working at a retail store. My wife and son were at home and all of a sudden a customer comes in and tells us a plane hit the tower. I was floored. This didn’t even register. then the next tower…then….

Even to this day it is wild to think that something like this happened. I am from NY and have friends and family there. some could have died and some literally just missed.

I don’t understand peoples motives to do such and thing and I pray for healing in the hearts of the extremists.

Thank God He is in control.

Let us never forget this day, the lives lost, and the heroes made.

I know you all have been waiting with baited breath…some of you may have canceled weekend plans or postponed dates…I am going to try something new with the set list and Text-fessional so bear with me a day.

Here we go….woooooooo

1. Calvary Chapel Jupiter – I’m really liking this CD and trying to listen enough that this one becomes one I don’t need the lyrics for

2. Paul Baloche – God Saves (I got a hold of a pre-release…uh wow…its awesome…kinda how I felt with matt redmans last CD. It was not something I expected sound wise)

3. Michael Neale – No Greater Audience (yeah I know it’s been in my top for a month now….there is probably a good reason though.)

2. Black Crowes – Shake Your Money Maker (listening to some of my faves this week….this CD is brilliant)

1. Tori Amos – Under the Pink (nuff said…one of the best Cd’s of all time)

How bout you all…whats your top 5?
