Archives For worship leader

****Update****

We now have a email address for your orders. Now all you have to do is email us your order (What shirt, What Color, What Size) with your address and how you plan on paying. This keeps your information private. Here is the email address.

sackclothclothes@gmail.com

I am pleased to announce that Sackcloth is up and running. We now have a website/blog and have officially started to take orders for the shirts. Check out our Merch/Ordering page to find out more on how to get your shirt. We will be making a few changes to the site in the next few days but we just couldn’t wait to make this announcement. We hope to have color swatches of the shirt colors up with the graphics so you know what color you’re buying. In the “Praise Him” shirt, we have a Fossil Gray (dark gray), a White and a Light Pink. In the “In His Splendor” we have White, Natural, and Sport Gray (lighter gray). You will also find pricing break downs on the page as well.

We would like to thank you all so much for your support and prayers in this little adventure. If you have any questions or suggestions please let us know. Also those of you who have posted that you want a shirt please post again on the Merch/Ordering page how many you want, what color and style, and also how you plan on paying us. Right now we can only take CASH or CHECK. We just want an official count on how many we need to order.

I know many of you have already said your in, but we need an exact count on the merch page with sizes so we can nail pricing and ordering.. We appreciate you letting us know again in more detail. If you are ordering please leave some sort of way of contacting you so we can let you know on shipping etc etc…. Thanks again so much!

SIDENOTE…THESE ARE NOT SHIRTS JUST FOR WORSHIP LEADERS AND MUSICIANS….WE ARE ALL CALLED TO WORSHIP THE KING BECAUSE HE IS WORTHY OF OUR PRAISE.

June 17th Set List

June 17, 2007 — 3 Comments

This is the sheet I use when I put together my set list.

As always Worship leaders post your set lists or a link to where we can find your set list.

Worship Confessional: Great service this week. we had 6 weeks of teaching on worship and I think it really created an atmosphere of real openness and surrender. The freedom in the church is amazing. We did my redeemer lives in a fink style with all 7th chords..sweet. and then moved into what you see listed. I did famous one in C with capo chord in G position. I did it slow and worshipful and it was great. Then Communion…How great is our God into O praise him…very slow…and when communion ended got loud with alleluia..it was really powerful. Then we ended with Redmans dancing generation…first time at this church and everyone loved it.

So it’s official, Jason Bolton (Man of Steel and Mud & Steel) and I are starting our own T-Shirt company. I don’t know how true it is, but this is the first known case at least to me where two bloggers who don’t live close have started…well…anything. This is pretty exciting.

The company is called Sackcloth. The name comes from Psalm 30.

“… You changed my mourning into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and turned it into joy…”

These shirts were designed with worship in mind. They will be a small test run. After the initial test run if all goes well we will roll out all of the other designs we are working on. Basically we are taking pre orders starting now and if we get enough then we’ll get them printed up. Jason and I both agree that we hate paying 20 bucks for a sweet shirt. We also aren’t looking to make a killing off these either. So look for these babies to be really affordable depending on printing costs. If you live near one of us then no shipping. We hope to have a website up soon or just a blog for starters so that you may be able to order through that. It may be a while till that is up and running. So for now a simple comment on this blog or on Man of Steel will put you down for a shirt. After we have enough orders to make a run we will contact you and get shipping addresses. Also different color shirts may be available as well.

It comes down to this. We are both designers who lead worship. We also both love…LOVE! T-shirts. We hope you dig our ideas and more are to come. Please get in on this so we can keep it going.

Here are the shirts so far (keep in mind placement graphic may change):

June 10th Set List

This is the sheet I use when I put together my set list.

Worship Confessional: Great Service this week. We had 5 weeks of sermons on worship so I did some changes this week. I had less songs in praise section and added an extra in communion. After we all had communion and worship to 2 songs we did Everlasting God. It was real powerful. We had testimonies and prophecy this week. God just told people to do it and it really blessed the congregation. In offereing I did Center (charlie Hall). Just a great service. We had people dancing around the church in the last song. David danced…too crazy. lol very fun
