It’s seems in this day …that is 2007 we don’t see too many miracles if any. When I did mission work over seas I saw them all the time. I think we have become complacent and the church does not rely on Christ as much as we should. We have so much that entangles us in our lives that we are missing “HIM”.

You saw in my last post that a friend was in need of prayer. His name is Stefan. He is a great Christian man, father, and husband. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. I don’t know about you but I believe that the God of abraham and Issac..The God of David and the God of me is the same yesterday and today. He is a God of healing. He is a God of hope.
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Please intercede with me for my friend and brother.

A what the heck kinda week

A friend of mine from the blog world is going through a real hard time (this doesn’t even begin to describe it). Last week it was business as usual and this week the blogsphere that I have grown to love is now in an upheaval because A brother is in serious trouble. At this point I can’t say much. Others have expressed their thoughts and prayers through song lyrics and emails with questions.

I say this..

“BY HIS STRIPES YOU ARE HEALED!” if there ever was a time for me to pray this out its now.

We have a GOD of healing, hope, love, truth, faithfulness…

A God who answers prayers..

And while I don’t know his will I do know what I want and I plead on my friend and his family’s behalf…

Be healed in Jesus name and let Your glory be revealed!

May 27th Set List

This is the sheet I use when I put together my set list.

As always Worship leaders post your set lists or a link to where we can find your set list.

Worship Confessional: This weeks service was great. A memorial day service with prayer for those we have lost. We opened with new hymn Before the Throne of God above. I love that hymn. Next our new gloria which people are really liking. (Darren I will have it to you within a week) Beautiful one was done fast then slow then fast and then right into Everlasting God chorus. That worked out great and of course that is becoming a favorite of the church. A couple of standards….Great I am written by me and an old friend in Oregon played in a different key then normal. It made it great right before communion. Did only You for communion which I love but it is a hard song to sing with other songs because it is a weird rhythm. And then we ended with the classic Delirious Song. All in all a very worshipful service, but it will be real nice to get a bass player. Acoustic only again for the 3rd week. While I love that it is difficult to move in the dynamics as much.
