Easter is coming, but just before it is Palm Sunday. This day has even more importance to our church this year.

Last sunday was Lifepath Church’s last service in our current building. As a matter of fact it was actually the 777th service we have held there. How awesome is that!

We have, based on the nudging of God, JUMPED out of our box and we are moving to a store front. In this area that is not a typical thing so this is very exciting. What’s really exciting is how much our church prayed about this move and didn’t make a move without God. This location truly is of God and Palm Sunday marks our first service in the new building. I will have pics of it soon by the way.

So here is what we have planned Set List wise:

So what do you have planned?

Good Friday is coming in two weeks and I have been working hard on planning all things holy week. I am not the kind of person who wants to pull out all of the stops during these days in a way that does not exemplify our normal services. With that said though I do want to do everything in my power to help the congregation and visitors to connect with the death and resurection of Jesus Christ. So here is what I have planned for our Good Friday service. I can’t wait for this evening. It is going to be fantastic. Below are the plans for it.

Sunday Set List

February 23, 2009 — 5 Comments

This is a part of the wonderful world of the infamous mckinnonblog carnival of Joy

This sunday was a pretty freakin awesome sunday.

We had some huge news this week that I will be sharing more about soon. It’s one part of the reason why i have been absent from the net for the last week. Our church found a building and we signed the lease. WOO HOO.

This is some awesome stuff because God did this hands down. We will be moving from a church building to a storefront on the main drag here and I can’t be more excited. Again more to come on that.

So needless to say the excitement in the building was infectious.

Here is the set this week

Processional:
The Glorious Impossible – Carl Cartee (C)

Praise:
Bless His Name – Tony Sanchez
Everlasting God – Brenton Brown
You Are Good – Kari Jobe

Offering:
Glory to God – Steve Fee

Communion:
Center – Charlie Hall
Healer – Planetshakers

Recessional (closing):
Everything Glorious – Crowder

Let me just say one thing. If you are not doing “the glorious impossible” in your church I feel sorry for you. :)
