My favorite albums from 1994

underpinkI saw an album pop up in in front of me that said “20th anniversary” and my first thought was:
“DANG I’m old… my “music” is now considered oldies”
… and then I decided to look at what else was 20 years old this year and reminisce the days of BRILLIANT music.

So here is the list of the albums from 1994 the hold a special place in my heart. These are the ones that I still listen today because they truly are amazing. (in no particular order)

Vigilantes of Love – WELCOME TO STRUGGLEVILLE
Starflyer 59 – SILVER
Weezer – WEEZER (blue album)
Tori Amos – UNDER THE PINK
LIVE – THROWING COPPER
The Cranberries – NO NEED TO ARGUE
The Choir – SPECKLED BIRD
Nirvana – UNPLUGGED
the 77’s – DROWNING WITH LAND IN SIGHT
Phil Keaggy – BLUE
Jimmy Page & Robert Plant – NO QUARTER
Kings X -DOGMAN
Mariah Carey – Christmas

And then don’t even get me started on 1993 & 1995
I really miss the 90’s world of music.

This list is incomplete due to the lack of G. Love and Special Sauce. Their iconic eponymous album Turned 20 thisnyear and was the launching point for a whole lot of artists like Jack Johnson and others…
