More of You: Original worship

Here is an original song written by me and my father.

Note: it was cold in the church and yes that is my beard…Ive been a little lazy and it’s going back to goatee next week.

Let me know if you want chords for this song and what you think.

  1. dude, you gotta keep the beard at least until the 15th…I will be greatly disappointed if the beard is gone 🙂

  2. Personally I think the lyrics of the chorus could be strengthened a little, but overall – I have to be honest- that is a GREAT SONG! In fact, I’d like to hear it fleshed out with a band – to the studio with you! Don’t come out till you’re finished!

  3. J-

The song is great. I’m glad to hear that you and your dad are collaborating.

btw–beard makes you look exactly like your dad —- 20 years ago when he wondered into a bible study I was playing guitar for.

  4. Dude You rock. Great song! I just wish I could pull off the Lumberjack thing. Put a full bamd behind that and it will be awsome. I can hear the Lead electric now during the faster sections (of course with some of my pedals for a singing electric guitar lead). Keep up the great work. You glorify our King Jesua at every turn.
    God Bless,

  5. I’ve been typing for day on my site so sorry for the miss spells. Get your band (not bamd) behind you and yes Jesus (not jesua) is my King.
My mind works way faster than my fingers.
    God Bless,

  6. I’m with groundedsettled.. keep the beard through Christmas. I’ve decided not to shave until after Christmas. Let the think get thicker 🙂

    I’m diggin’ the song!

  7. thanks everybody for the great comments…I hope to record this one for real in the near future…

jerry: ill put the chords together for you asap…I glad you like and really hope it blesses your church

  8. This is a great song. I would love the Chord chart. I find myself doing sax fills in my head as I listen to this. Nice job.
