  1. Joel – Looks like a great set. I’ve noticed, though, that you always seem to have a TON of songs (comparatively speaking). We generally do six or seven throughout the service. How long are your worship services, and what portion of that service is dedicated to music? Pray it goes well for you tomorrow!

  2. You guys are gonna be in church all day!! :)

  3. Honestly, I wish we had more! I wouldn’t mind being in church all day!

Seriously though, I’ve noticed that sometimes just having that one song more can mean the difference between worshiping, and actually moving into God’s presence. Knowing where it needs to end is also key; it’s about that balance and I think Joel has struck it for our congregation.

  4. Stephen: thanks for stopping by. it does seem like a ton of songs I know…keep in mind some of them are within the context of the liturgy of the service. Our service is 1hr30min. we string music throughout the whole thing. for the beginning to offering to communion and end. thanks for the prayers buddy…I hope your sunday went great also

Chris: well that would be ok with me…but only 1hr30min. lol

    Lori: thanks for the encouragement

  5. Amazing set, as always Joel! Somehow in the last 3 or 4 weeks you have chosen songs that speak exactly to what I’m feeling/dealing with/celebrating that week. The Lord is doing great things through you!! Thanks for your hard work and dedication.

(Oh — and that website we were talking about is — They have a search function to search by ingredients. But since you’ve already caved and gone grocery shopping…)

  6. liz: wow…that really means a lot…God is good all the time.

and that website…been there…and love it

  7. Dude, seriously, if we just planned our services together it’d probably be easier for both of us :)
Beautiful One and Word of God Speak…that’s funny. Almost as funny as me trying to sing it in A. I thought I normally sang songs higher than you? Hahaha.

  8. ha ha ha…dude we should plan them together…and beautiful one in A is not that high …it key of a dut first chord is not A…first chord is D.

oh and you def sing higher. lol

  9. Whoosie whatsie?!?! :)
I missed the first chord is D line.
