Thanks for the list. Of course we overlap quite a bit, but I recommend all of the sites on my blogroll. Two that aren’t on the roll, but are in my reader are:

    1. WIRED News — http://feeds.wired.com/wired/topheadlines

    2. DEADSPIN (sports) — http://feeds.gawker.com/deadspin/full

And I recommend everybody subscribe to the comments of their favorite blogs. It helps continue the conversation.

    Joel,
Cool post. I actually searched my reader a couple times for my favs, but I believe you have them all on your list.

I’d like to post everything in my reader, but I’m up over 100 feeds.

Did you manually create this post or was there a quick easy way to get a list of all of your feeds out of google reader?

  7. klampert Avatar

I saerched the high seas for a way to get even a text file from google reader…but uh…nope…So I went to manage and copied everything manually. took 10 min. and now I never have to do it again. lol

    Hey –
don’t forget you can use GoogleReader to “share” your favorite posts – there is a cool GoogleReader Shared widget for WordPress, too!

  9. klampert Avatar

fred i don’t think that works for us people on wordpress.com

    Joel,
Under the wordpress.com widgets you can choose “RSS” and any feed to your side bar. I think you can even pick how many posts it shows and add several different RSS feeds. (this may be template sensitive, but I know I’ve had my google shared items in my sidebar before.)

Hey Joel – I’ve got some of my Google Reader stuff shared on my blog too. I can’t remember how I did it but I know it works! 🙂

Thanks for the link – I’ll add you to my sidebar. You’re in my Reader but not linked on my blog yet.

You’ve got lots of good blogs and a whole bunch that I’ve never seen before – I’ll be checking through those later.

hey chris…Yeah man I love your site…it’s great now that I found it last week…and welcome…

Joel — Thanks for the plug for Faithful Web.

Another good blog for church webmasters is the similarly named http://www.faithandweb.com, which focuses on “the intersection of the Web and faith.”
