Wow it has been a while. sometimes life gets in the way of this stuff, but I’m back and more determined than ever. I will have a buch of new posts up this week along with my review of the cut capo after having purchased it.

Just saw Matt Redman last night – he had a few new songs. [Never let Go] Excellent worship, but the crowd wasn’t really as into it as I’ve seen in the past. It didn’t seem to bother him, which I was glad to see. I know he must lead worship in a wide range of groups, some more or less conservative than others. But I think part of the problem was that the chairs were packed together and I could barely move back and forth, let alone really dance. Here’s a good lesson for those who want to set their congregations free in worship – design the seating to facilitate comfortable worship. Make it a safe place to be intimate with God without knocking into other people.

I love Matt redman. I consider crowder cutting edge and paul baloche classic with a little modern flare and redman and tomlin right in between. Redman always writes from the word. his songs all come from a verse or chapter and I love that. He is big on dance so there has to be room for that for sure. At st. mikes there is a ton of room for freedom in worship, but every once in a while its nice to kick the chairs out and dance with worship with total abandon.
Graham I am looking forward to you and your wife coming here and being a part of what God is doing.
